A Science lab is a workplace for the conduct of scientific research. It helps students to remember the concepts better. It helps to transfer the experience to other learning situations. It is a facility that provides controlled conditions in which scientific research, experiments and measurement may be performed.
Computer Education is given due emphasis in the curriculam. The School has a well equipped computer laboratory for the teaching of Computer Studies.
The school is well equipped with books, magazines acting as a comfortable and ideal platform for self study. It also has a variety of resource materials like educative and informative dailies, an extensive collection of more than 2000 books, magazines, periodicals, national and international journals which help the students to satisfy their curiosity to explore the world of knowledge.
Sports help building positive self- esteem in children. It is an important learning environment for children.we have a good play ground facility for the students to keep them healthy, to promote a healthy mind. To develop good interpersonal skills and concentration.
Green Valley takes the safety very seriously. Reason why, the school has arranged extensive transport facilities for students residing in and around Kotagiri.. Separate buses are operated for Secondary and Higher Secondary students. All major areas in Kotagiri are covered by our School Vans. It’s our endeavour to make life easier and a lot more convenient to our students and parents by providing them with transportation that reached the furthest corners of Kotagiri.
Our Physical Education Department is fairly equipped with all play materials. Great importance is attached to Physical Education. Specially Trained teachers have been appointed to teach children in Games and other physical activities including Yoga and Karate.
Green Valley School has a good hostel facility separate for boys and girls.Students are provided furnished accommodation comprising cot, cupboard, etc.
Wholesome and balanced vegetarian and Non vegetarian food are served in the Dining Room.The staff and students share the food alike.Lunch is provided in the Hostel for the Day Scholars on collection of nominal charges.
